Organisational Consultancy

The process
. The model we use is one of collaborative exploration.

Change and stress in organisations can cause dis-equilibrium in the individual and in the agency as a whole.

Our task as consultants is to identify the functional and dysfunctional dynamics.   Then, in collaboration with management and staff,   we will develop strategies to resolve patterns of behaving and relating.

Working relationships will thus be strengthened and internal and external communications will be improved, so that the organisation more effectively for the benefit of everyone involved.

We engaged all staff affected by these issues at the earliest possible stage in the process, so that we can ensure ownership of the dynamics and responsibility for addressing them.

All our work increases staff capacity to respond effectively to unforeseen situations and to change thinking and feeling into effective action.

The model

The group analytic model draws on the resources present in a group or team,   paying close attention to the unconcious process which may be hindering effective production and working relationships.

It provide a safe space to identify anxieties and fears that are inevitably present when there is a dysfunction, conflict or a period of change.

The effective models works towards open and honest communication to encourage constructive resolution of conflict and management of change the model applies equally well to staff development and team building.

Action methods

These more structured methods include drawing pictures and diagrams, using objects to represent people, story telling and people-sculpting.

We also use socio-drama which helps people simulate what happens in life so that they can develop greater understanding, experiment with new options and develop more role flexibility.

On request, one or two of our members will initially meet with you to listen to your requirements and explain our way of working.

If there is agreement that we can provide what is appropriate to your organisational needs,  we will work with you to focus on your objectives and how we propose to meet them.

This may includes programmes of team building,  ongoing regular meetings with staff teams, staff development work and or individual consultations with managers.

We provide a flexible response to consultations, tailored to your organisation particular requirements.
